چکیده
Type-I X-ray burst oscillations are powered by thermonuclear released on the neutron star (NS) surface in low mass binaries (LMXBs), where oscillation frequencies close to NS spin rates. In this work, we report detection of at 584.65 Hz during cooling tail a type-I bursts observed from accreting LMXB 4U~1730--22 2022 March 20, \textit{ Neutron Interior Composition Explorer} (\textit{NICER}) telescope. The signal showed strong Leahy power, $P_{\rm m}\sim54.04$, around Hz, which has single trial and multiple trials confidence levels $7.05\sigma$ $4.78\sigma$, respectively. folded pulse profile 0.2--10 keV band sinusoidal shape with fraction amplitude rms $(12.5\pm1.8)\%$. We found frequency insignificant upward drifting, i.e., less than 0.3 tail, similar as behavior appearing millisecond pulsars (AMXP), indicate source could be an AMXP spinning 1.71 ms.

0 Discovery of a 270 Hz X - Ray Burst Oscillation in the X - Ray Dipper 4 U 1916 − 053
We report the discovery of a highly coherent oscillation in a type-I X-ray burst observed from 4U 1916−053 by the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE ). The oscillation was most strongly detected ≈ 1 s after the burst onset at a frequency of 269.3 Hz, and it increased in frequency over the following 4 seconds of the burst decay to a maximum of ≃272 Hz. The total measured drift of 3.58 ± 0.41 Hz (...
متن کاملA Strong X-ray Burst from the Low-mass X-ray Binary Exo 0748 676
We have observed an unusually strong X-ray burst as a part of our regular eclipse timing observations of the lowmass binary system EXO 0748 676. The burst peak flux was 5:2 ; 10 8 ergs cm s , approximately 5 times the normal peak X-ray burst flux observed from this source by RXTE. Spectral fits to the data strongly suggest that photospheric radius expansion occurred during the burst. In this pa...
متن کاملDiscovery of a ∼ 7 Hz Quasi - Periodic Oscillation in the Low - Luminosity Low - Mass X - Ray Binary 4 U 1820 – 30
We have discovered a 7.06±0.08 Hz quasi-periodic oscillation (QPO) in the X-ray flux of the lowluminosity low-mass X-ray binary (LMXB) and atoll source 4U 1820–30. This QPO was only observable at the highest observed mass accretion rate, when the source was in the uppermost part of the banana branch, at a 2–25 keV luminosity of 5.4×10 erg s (for a distance of 6.4 kpc). The QPO had a FWHM of onl...
متن کاملThe Orbital Period of the Ultracompact Low-mass X-ray Binary 4u 1543–624
We report the discovery of the orbital period of the ultracompact low-mass X-ray binary (LMXB) 4U 1543−624 using time-resolved optical photometry taken with the 6.5-m Clay (Magellan II) telescope in Chile. The light curve in the Sloan r band clearly shows a periodic, sinusoidal modulation at 18.2±0.1 min with a fractional semiamplitude of 8%, which we identify as the binary period. This is the ...
متن کاملDiscovery of an X–ray Pulsar in the Low–mass X-ray Binary 2a 1822–371
We report the discovery of 0.59 s X–ray pulsations from the low–mass X–ray binary, 5.57 hr dipping and eclipsing ADC source 2A 1822–371. Pulse arrival time analysis indicates a circular orbit with e <0.03 (95% confidence) and an asini for the neutron star of 1.006(5) lightseconds, implying a mass function of (2.03± 0.03)× 10M⊙. The barycentric pulse period was 0.59325(2) s in 1996.270 and 0.593...
